NIPONIQUE (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as “this Service”).

Article 1 (Personal Information)

“Personal information” refers to “personal information” as defined in the Personal Information Protection Law, and refers to information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in such information, as well as data related to facial features, fingerprints, voiceprints, and the insurer number of a health insurance card (personal identification information).

Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

  3. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases do not fall under third parties:
    1. When the Company entrusts all or a portion of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
    2. When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons
    3. When personal information is jointly used with a specific person, and the items of personal information jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use by joint users, and the name or title of the person responsible for the management of the said personal information are notified in advance or are made readily available to the owner of said personal information

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

  1. When the Company is requested by the user to disclose personal information, the Company shall disclose it to the user without delay. However, if disclosure falls under any of the following, the Company may not disclose all or part of the information, and if a decision is made not to disclose, the Company will notify the user without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per case will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.
    1. When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the user or a third party
    2. When there is a risk of significantly hindering the proper execution of the Company’s business
    3. When it violates other laws and regulations
  3. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in principle, the Company will not disclose information other than personal information pertaining to browsing history and nature of access.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

  1. If the user’s personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request the Company to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as “correction, etc.”) the personal information according to the procedures specified by the Company.
  2. If the Company receives a request from the user as described in the preceding paragraph and determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, the Company will correct the personal information without delay.
  3. If the Company makes corrections, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or decides not to make corrections, etc., the Company will notify the user without delay.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

  1. If the Company is requested by the user to suspend or delete (hereinafter referred to as “suspension, etc.”) the use of personal information on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or that it has been obtained by fraudulent means, the Company will conduct necessary investigations without delay.
  2. If it is determined that it is necessary to comply with the request based on the results of the investigation described in the preceding paragraph, the Company will suspend the use of the personal information without delay.
  3. If the Company suspends use, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or decides not to suspend use, etc., the Company will notify the user without delay.
  4. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if suspension, etc. involves a large amount of cost or it is otherwise difficult to suspend use, etc., and alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of the user, these alternative measures shall be taken.

Article 9 (Use of Analytical Tools)

This site uses Google Analytics, an access analysis tool provided by Google. This Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data. This traffic data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals.

Article 10 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

  1. The contents of this Policy may be changed without notifying the user, except for laws and regulations and other matters otherwise specified in this Policy.
  2. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the changed privacy policy will take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
